Who Are We?

MethodExcel was set up in 2016 to serve the needs of local business, the education sector and NFP organisations in the area. Since then we’ve grown to have clients across the UK in all sorts of sectors.

We specialise in the design, development and delivery of solutions based on Power BI and Excel. We also provide training to help you get more out your software and to be self-sufficient.

Why Power BI?

Microsoft Power BI was first released in 2015 and has rapidly become the most significant and influential Business Intelligence product on the market.

Its ease of use and low entry costs make it a must-have for any business looking to grow and develop.

Why Excel?

Microsoft Excel is wonderfully flexible and powerful.  First released for Windows in 1987, it has over 500 million users worldwide and is the tool of choice for analysing and presenting data.

Yet despite it’s truly massive user base, it’s likely that as many as 90% of Excel users use or understand as little as 10% of what it can do.

We aim to unlock the potential of Excel, build robust solutions that meet your needs, and to give you the skills to be able to master future projects and tasks with confidence.

Why Smaller Enterprises?

We want to be of service to the smaller businesses, schools and colleges, charities and social enterprises.  We believe in trying to serve the local economy, its services and its people.

Challenges faced by smaller enterprises include:

  • Limited time or resources to tackle data-related problems or opportunities

  • No budget for expensive software or consultants

  • Lack of technical skills needed to get up to speed with Power BI or to exploit Excel

We believe that MethodExcel can help you overcome these challenges and deliver affordable, tangible benefits.
